The headlines read that Trump has called for the termination of the Constitution. Trump is saying that and a whole lot more. “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations and articles, even those found in the Constitution. Our great ‘founders’ did not want, and would not condone, False and Fraudulent elections.” What does Trump want? He surely does not want to be President of the United States. That person is elected by the people according to the rules of the Constitution that he wants to dismiss. He uses word like False and Fraudulent with nothing to back those words up. He has constantly filed lawsuit after lawsuit and lost because he had not evidence. The only evidence that there is, is the fact that he lost the election and because he lost he wants the whole thing thrown out and we just place him on the throne of America. Our great ‘Founders”, does he really think that they would want us just to give Trump the throne to the United States? Do you believe they would? our great ‘Founders’ fought a war against that very thing.

Every member of the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of the government has taken an oath to defend our Constitution from threats from not only abroad but at home. That oath is meant to protect the very thing that Trump wants to do away with. Trump himself took that very oath. Words that meant absolutely nothing to him. If those words had no meaning to him when he spoke them then, that was lie number one when he took office, number one of thousands to follow. Republicans have been very slow to react and condemn Trump wanting us to dump the Constitution, too slow in my opinion. Republican Representative David Joyce not only refused to condemn Trump but he also stated that he would support Trump if he got the Republican Nomination for 2024. Trump was not the only one that took the oath to defend and protect our Constitution, so did Representation David Joyce. Looks to me like both would throw out the very document that our entire Country is based on. I have known from the start of Trump’s Presidency that the oath of office meant very little to him. Even before he took office he wanted to take Colin Kaepernick’s right of free speech away from him. Trump took an oath to defend that right, but like so many others that also took the oath he condemned someone he should have been defending. I didn’t like what Kaepernick did but he had every right to do it and I will always defend that right. If you believe in the Constitution why are you not defending that right? The Republican Party seems split over what Trump has said. Our Florida Senator Rick Scott said that the electorate should decide if that disqualifies Trump. I think that is a very dangerous stance.

History will tell you that the German electorate did not vote for Hitler. The Conservatives at the time did not have a majority but they convinced President Paul von Hindenburg to appoint Adolf Hitler Chancellor. Hitler did rise to office but he was never elected by the people. He continued to gain power until the Weimar Republic was no more than the Nazi party turned Germany into a Dictatorship run by Adolf Hitler. The rest is history and many people died and a great war had to be fought to defeat Hitler and his thirst for power. I feel that is what would happen if our Constitution was just thrown out and we appointed our leader.

In the United States we have elections for a reason. To elect the people that are going to run the country. In 2016 Donald Trump did not win the popular vote but because we use the Electoral College he had enough Electoral votes to win the Presidency. That is our system and that is what we had to live with for 4 years and we did. In 2020 Trump again did not win the popular vote but more important he did not win the Electoral vote either. Now, that is our system and that is what Trump should be living with but instead he has tried every way to change the results by challenging them in the courts and losing every time, including, in my opinion, encouraging on an insurrection to change the results of the election. And he had help; lots of help from people that had also sworn to protect and defend our Constitution. Republican Senators like Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley. Republicans Members of the House like Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert. He also had help from organizations that I consider terrorist organizations like the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers. It also looked like he got a little bit of help by a Supreme Court Justice and his wife Ginni Thomas. To me it looked like members of the Republican Party joining forces with terrorist organizations and conservative media to bring about the end of our Republic as we know it today and I don’t think that is an exaggeration.

There were members of the Republican Party that opposed Trump and his attempt to throw out our Constitution. People like Reprehensive Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. In fact there were a total on ten Republican Representatives that stood up to defend and protect our Constitution and they are all censured by the Republican Party of their respective states. Of the seven Republicans Senators that stood up and defended our Constitution against Donald Trump 5 of them including Mitt Romney were either censored or rebuked by the Republican Party of their respective states. Republicans that took their oath seriously are punished by the Republican Party and the Republicans that sided with domestic terrorists are not. Is the Republican Party turning into a Terrorist Organization? Believing in low taxes and small government is a long way from wanting to end our Constitutional Republic but I am afraid that they may be heading in that direction.

Donald Trump calling for him to be appointed President, Donald Trump is calling for the end of our Constitutional Republic. By Republicans stating that they will support Donald Trump if he wins the Republican nomination is to me saying that those Republicans want to end our Constitutional Republic. If the Republican Party truly believed in our Constitutional Republic they would not be censoring Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, they would be throwing Trump out of the Republican Party. One thing for sure is, our founders would never want anyone to put a political party, any political party, before our Constitution but that is exactly what many Republicans are doing.

On Saturday, I was looking at Facebook and a person I was friends with, in fact, someone I went to High School with, posted something I knew was wrong. The post claimed that four lawmakers in Colorado decided jail time shouldn’t be mandatory for people who committed sexual assault of children. She claimed they were pedophile protectors. I opened up Perplexity and asked about the situation, and this is the reply I got back: You’re referring to a recent controversy in Colorado over a proposed bill that would change sentencing rules for certain sex crimes. Here are the verified facts to clarify what’s actually happening: • In early 2026, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee held a vote on a sentencing reform bill that aimed to give judges more discretion in certain felony cases. • Some lawmakers voted against an amendment that would have made mandatory prison sentences apply to all sex crimes, including child sexual assault, preferring instead to let judges determine sentences...
Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
The hidden tax. Tariffs cause a hidden tax that never really goes away. I hope that Americans are tired of being told fairy tales about why everything costs more. Our elected officials point fingers. Corporations blame supply chains. Commentators blame inflation. The truth is much simpler and infuriating: tariffs are a tax on ordinary people, and the pain does not stop when the policy ends. It sticks. It lingers. It rarely delivers what we were promised. This is the mess we are in now because of the tariffs imposed by the current administration. Tariffs are sold as strength, as toughness – a way to punish governments and to bring back manufacturing jobs. That pitch works on conservatives who want control, moderates who want fairness, progressives who want domestic industry, and politicians trying to get elected. It is a message built to unite. The policy itself does the opposite. It drains the wallets of the very people that it claims to protect. Here is how it actually works. ...
