Trump and social media are dangerous. His Easter message was not what I would call a spiritually inspirational post honoring the sacrifice Jesus was supposed to have made. Here is what he posted. “Happy Easter to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting to bring Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, the Mentally Insane, and well-known MS-13 Gang Members and Wife Beaters, back into our County. Happy Easter also to the WEAK and INEFFECTIVE Judges and Law Enforcement Officials who are allowing this sinister attack on our Nation to continue, and an attack so violent that it will never be forgotten! Sleepy Joe Biden purposely allowed Millions of CRIMINALS to enter our Country, totally unvetted and unchecked, through an Open Border Policy that will go down in history as the single most calamitous act perpetrated upon America. He was, by far, our WORST and most Incompetent President, a man who had no idea what he was doing – But to him, and  to the person that ran and manipulated the Auto Pen (perhaps our REAL President), and to all of the people who CHEATED in the 2020 Presidential Election in order to get this highly destructive Moron Elected, I wish you, with great love, sincerity and affection, a very Happy Easter!!!” That is not what I call a very inspirational message. In fact, it is not what I would consider a Christian message at all on a day that is supposed to commemorate the sacrifice Jesus made for us all.

The first thing that jumps out at me is a total lack of leadership projected in the message. It is filled mostly with insults, insults to anyone who opposes any of Trump's policies. Maybe a better way to put it is that he insults anyone who wants him to do the right thing by law and the Constitution. First, he insults anyone who opposes his policies on what he calls illegal immigration. I swear, to Trump, any person with dark skin, who is an immigrant, is illegal, whether they are actually illegal or not. People who are here legally are being arrested anyway. He wants to have the say on who stays and who goes, and if you oppose him, you are some left lunatics who are here to ruin the country. Next, he insults the Judges and the lawyers who are demanding that he follow due process. Due process is guaranteed in the Constitution, the very document he swore an oath to protect. He blames Biden for the mess we are supposed to be in with immigration, when it is Congress's job to write the law that fixes our problems. That’s right, it is Congress that has not done its job when it comes to immigration. His entire Easter message is just filled with insults and lies that are meant to feed the hate that has divided our nation and will continue to divide our nation.

When Trump posts on social media, it is very hard to see where it is anything but self-serving to try and manipulate that nation. In many cases, they are just lies. This is another one that stuck me as wrong. Trump posted, “I’m doing what I was elected to do, remove criminals for our Country, but the Courts don’t seem to want me to do that. My team is fantastic, doing an incredible job, however, they are being stymied at every turn by even the U. S. Supreme court, which I have such great respect for, but which seemingly doesn’t want me to send violent criminals and terrorist back to Venezuela, or any other Country., for that matter. – People that came here illegally! The Courts are intimidated by the Radical Left, who are “playing the Ref”.  Great Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito correctly wants to dissolve the pause on Deportations. He is right on this! If we don’t get these criminals out of our country, we are not going to have a Country any longer, We cannot give everyone a trial, because to do so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years. We would need hundreds of thousands of trials for the hundreds of thousands of illegals we are sending out of the country. Such a thing is not possible to do. What a ridiculous situation we are in, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

If you look at the issues, the number one issue that was on the public's mind was the economy. So, he isn’t doing what he was elected to do. The economy was the number one issue. He was elected to bring down the price of eggs. He said if we elected Kamala, we would have a recession in 3 days, and if we elected him, we would have prosperity in 3 days. What we have is complete chaos. That is right, complete chaos. Trump has tanked the stock market and even many of his administration now state his tariffs will cause worse inflation. He ran against Bidenomics, and I, for one, wish we had Bidenomics back. We have discovered that the economy under Biden was pretty good. His government, by chaos, has made it so that much of the world no longer trusts America. His economic polices are more like what a MOB boss would do and not what a world leader would do.

I don’t have a problem with deporting illegal immigrants. All Presidents in the 21st century have deported illegal immigrants from Bush to Biden, and at a higher rate than what Trump would have us believe. What matters to me is how and where. The process is what matters. Humanity does matter. Most of the people are not criminals except that they entered the United States illegally. No one has proven to me that any one of them is a terrorist sent here to terrorize the American people. The only person who freed terrorists is Trump, the January 6th terrorist. We put people in shackles and have them duck walk to board a plane and sent them to a concentration camp in a foreign country. There has been due process in the past, but none now. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution states that no person shall be “deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of the law”. For Trump to say that it is not the courts' business to interfere in this deportation issue is opposed to the Constitution.

Steven Miller has posted that “If you were an American falsely accused of wrongdoing on the January 6th it wasn’t merely difficult to get “due process” it was impossible, the entire system was rigged against you. All of it. Those persecuted Americans could only dream if the “due process” afforded illegal aliens.” I will tell you that it is a complete lie. Not a single person involved in the January 6th insurrection was denied due process. They all were represented by lawyers and had hearings and trials and had an opportunity to present a defense. Something that none of those who are incarcerated in that concentration camp in El Salvador. It is the lying to the American people that divides and weakens us.

  1. Does Trump's narcissism "cover" a deep self-loathing, causing him ultimately to hate his country and coddle Putin. Trump's recruitment of Gabbard, a like-minded Putin lover, makes clear they are determined that Ukraine become part of Russia. They both are on the wrong side of history and the majority of American people who support Ukraine. W/o USA weapons & money, will European Union fill the void so Ukraine will not be lost to Russia?

There’s a simple way to judge a country: look at whose lives it protects, and whose lives it’s willing to forget. For years now, we’ve heard the phrase “All Lives Matter.” It sounds fair. It sounds equal. It sounds like common sense. But a country doesn’t reveal its values through slogans. It reveals them through actions, through the lives it defends, the lives it ignores, and the lives it quietly pushes out of sight. And lately, America has been doing a whole lot of looking away. When Black Americans said they were being killed during traffic stops and routine encounters, the response from many leaders wasn’t concern; it was irritation. Instead of saying, “Let’s fix the problem so fewer people die,” we heard “Blue Lives Matter,” “Stop resisting,” and “BLM is a terrorist group.” A man died in a chokehold on camera. We all saw, from the beginning to the end. It was like a modern-day lynching. Millions marched peacefully. The answer from those in power was “law and order,” and “...
On Saturday, I was looking at Facebook and a person I was friends with, in fact, someone I went to High School with, posted something I knew was wrong. The post claimed that four lawmakers in Colorado decided jail time shouldn’t be mandatory for people who committed sexual assault of children. She claimed they were pedophile protectors. I opened up Perplexity and asked about the situation, and this is the reply I got back: You’re referring to a recent controversy in Colorado over a proposed bill that would change sentencing rules for certain sex crimes. Here are the verified facts to clarify what’s actually happening: • In early 2026, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee held a vote on a sentencing reform bill that aimed to give judges more discretion in certain felony cases. • Some lawmakers voted against an amendment that would have made mandatory prison sentences apply to all sex crimes, including child sexual assault, preferring instead to let judges determine sentences...
Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
