I was saddened to read that Joe Biden has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. I have known several people who have had Prostate Cancer and, years later, are alive and kicking, still enjoying a fruitful life. What saddened me more was the conspiracy theorists coming out of the woodwork, claiming Biden was not competent and an investigation was needed to determine why he remained in office. Some have called it one of the biggest cover-ups in the history of our nation. What saddens me most is that even though the Republicans control both Houses and the White House, they have to continue to attack Biden.  Instead of trying to live up to their campaign promises, they attack the man who has retired from public service. He has Prostate cancer, which does not affect the brain.  Throughout his presidency, Biden has been very honest with the nation, which is something that Trump may say, but that wouldn’t be the truth. History will judge Biden just like it will judge Trump. The attacks on Biden by Trump, his family, and his supporters show just how classless the Republican Party has become.

When Biden was elected, I was hoping he would be a one-term President and he would spend his four years grooming the Democratic party for the future. Just because that is what I wanted didn’t mean it would happen. He had great success, and he thought he could continue his success for another four years. I knew it was a mistake that would come back and haunt the Democratic Party. Trump has never stopped attacking those 4 years in office, and Biden thought all he had to do was do a good job, and the people would reward him. It was his faith in the American People, I think was his Achilles' heel. The problem is that today’s cable news doing a good job like Biden did, but that’s not enough because good doesn’t sell. It is the hate and bigotry that Trump brings to the table that sells. Our borders were open no more with Biden than they were with Trump. The only thing that changed is that we treated immigrants more humanely. We stopped separating children from their parents and tried to treat people humanely. Imagine treating people more humanely in a Christian nation and being punished and ridiculed for it. That is what happened to Biden. All during Biden's Presidency, Trump and the Republicans attacked the Biden administration unmercifully. Biden kept focusing on the job and what he wanted to accomplish for the American people.

Trump insults and bullies pretty much everyone who doesn’t treat him as the god that he thinks he should be treated like. Trump surrounds himself with what most of us would consider excess, like an emperor would. He also surrounds himself with people who tell him how great he is and what a great job he is doing. I have been on this earth for almost 72 years, and I have never heard so much false praise piled on anyone. That is not a sign of a great man. That is a sign of an incompetent man trying to look competent. When I see a cabinet meeting start with the speaker thanking Trump, it just sounds so phony, like a cartoon production or a comedy production on Saturday Night Live. That shows you how poor of a leader he is when, instead of taking control of the meeting, he just sits there and lets people flatter him. He is the emperor walking through the streets naked, and everyone is telling him how nicely he is dressed. When you are President, you have to be able to take criticism, and Biden had his fair share, just like every president before him. Trump needs to be constantly told how great he is, like some self-conscious little child.

Trump has been getting into a real big huff because of Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen is on a European Tour and spoke to the crowd, giving his opinion of what is happening in America. Springsteen speaks his mind on what he thinks is happening to the country that he loves, and the entire Trump administration goes nuts.  Springsteen is a great American Artist who, in the 80s, stepped up and supported our Veterans, especially the Vietnam Veterans. In some ways, Springsteen is a little like Trump, where he didn’t serve, but he has treated those who did serve as the heroes that they deserved to be treated as. Springsteen would not let them be forgotten and made sure the nation didn’t forget their sacrifice. I don’t think that Springsteen thinks of himself as a Patriot but more as a person who supports the Patriots that Trump considers suckers and losers.

  1. In my opinion the biggest failure of the Biden Administration was not immediately investigating Trump's involvement into the January 6th insurrection. I don't know if Biden assumed Trump was washed up and would not run again or win the republican nomination.
All Biden's and AG Merrick Garland's inaction did was make January 6th look like Hitler's failed Beer Hall Putsch.
Yeah, Biden should have attempted to run for reelection. That decision is the definition of a strategic failure.

Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
The hidden tax. Tariffs cause a hidden tax that never really goes away. I hope that Americans are tired of being told fairy tales about why everything costs more. Our elected officials point fingers. Corporations blame supply chains. Commentators blame inflation. The truth is much simpler and infuriating: tariffs are a tax on ordinary people, and the pain does not stop when the policy ends. It sticks. It lingers. It rarely delivers what we were promised. This is the mess we are in now because of the tariffs imposed by the current administration. Tariffs are sold as strength, as toughness – a way to punish governments and to bring back manufacturing jobs. That pitch works on conservatives who want control, moderates who want fairness, progressives who want domestic industry, and politicians trying to get elected. It is a message built to unite. The policy itself does the opposite. It drains the wallets of the very people that it claims to protect. Here is how it actually works. ...
When I was young, I was told that “Sex, Drugs, and Rock n Roll” was going to ruin the country. What I am seeing today is that “Sex, Politicians, and Espionage” is actually what is ruining the country and our democracy. Just think about it. When sex, secrecy, and political power get mixed together, every intelligence service in the world pays attention. The Epstein files aren’t just about a criminal and the rich people that he surrounded himself with. They show how sexual exploitation creates the kind of vulnerabilities foreign governments like Russia dream of. The most uncomfortable part of that truth is that other countries, such as Great Britain, are taking that threat more seriously than we are. Jeffrey Epstein didn’t just commit crimes. He built a system. He targeted vulnerable girls, groomed them, controlled them, and used them to gain access to powerful men. That abuse wasn’t just immoral; it gave him power and leverage. Victims were scared, ashamed, and often silenced. P...
