Because of my writings every once in a while I get feedback. I have been called a Nazi and loser. A libtard and a socialist libtard. I did get some feedback from a Rhonda in Indiana that was kind of interesting. I think what she was trying to do was tell me all the bad things that Biden has done since he was elected. It was a pretty long list so I thought that I would address them here.

Her first comment was “Took recognition of the Golan Heights and West as part of Israel. Now I googled if Biden took recognition for Israel annexing the Golan Heights and came up with a blank. Now in the past he was in favor of recognizing Jerusalem as the capital but then back away from that. No matter what anyone does it is a very explosive situation. No matter what you do someone is going to be pissed. I just hope he can get them all back to the negotiating table.

Next she said the “Removal of the 1776 project from the Education Department. Now I know she means Trumps attempt to rewrite history. Now history is being rewritten every day. What is thought to be true 20 years ago may not be true today. I like to use the example of the Civil War. Now for the longest time it was fought for the southern way of life, for State rights. Well that is a true statement. But a truer statement is that the Civil War was fought for States rights to own another human being. Now when said that way the noble southern gentleman is not so noble. Let’s keep government out of righting history and leave it to the historians. In the digital time that we live in I wonder what historians will have to say about 2020. All the recordings and all the videos and also maybe even this blog will still be there for historians to study.

Next she said “transgender bathrooms in school”. I will admit that I do not understand this one and am waiting until my friend Peter can help me make sense of it. I know I will be able to have an intelligent conversation with him about it so I can understand the issue better. One thing that I am always opposed to is discrimination.

Next she said “Stopped the Keystone pipeline. Now there I kind of agree with her. Now our future should not be in oil. If we do not invest in Green Technology we will be left behind in the job market by the rest of the world. Now that cannot be accomplished over night so letting the construction of the pipeline continue would not have bothers me that much.

Next she said “Rejoined the Paris Peace Accord.” Now I think that she meant the Paris Climate Accord because the Paris Peace Accord was in 1973 and with Vietnam. Now I am glad that he rejoined. Climate is going to be a big issue and Green Technology is where the future jobs will be. I am sure people didn’t like cars because we had plenty of wagons and horses but we need to keep moving forward. I will always remember Mr. Poza’s science class and the fruit flies. The more resources the fruit flies used up the more the population went down till they were all gone. Will that be our history?

Next it was “Mask mandates”. Now I am one of those people with a pre-existing condition. I have heart disease and non cancerous scarring on my lungs from exposure to asbestos. Now,  by people not wearing a mask they are putting my life in danger. They don’t want to care about their neighbor. Over 750,000 people will probably die in this country alone but that does not matter. They say the mask infringes on their freedom.  I have seen freedom described as Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Not wearing a mask just may be denying me my Freedom to Life and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Now this is the last one I am going to do today. Next she says “Reinstitute critical race theory race training.” It used to be called diversity training which I have participated in.  I would not want to call this woman a racist but to think that racism has always been a part of our everyday life. Ignoring race like this just putting your head in the sand. She alone is proof by just adding this to her list. It used to be called diversity training but now it has a very pro-white anti-minority twist to it. Now I am white and consider myself a recovering racist. It used to be said that to truly understand someone you need to walk a mile in their shoes. I am still trying to walk that mile.

All of this is debatable and thank Rhonda for such good talking points. There is more to her list and maybe tomorrow I will continue going down it.

There’s a simple way to judge a country: look at whose lives it protects, and whose lives it’s willing to forget. For years now, we’ve heard the phrase “All Lives Matter.” It sounds fair. It sounds equal. It sounds like common sense. But a country doesn’t reveal its values through slogans. It reveals them through actions, through the lives it defends, the lives it ignores, and the lives it quietly pushes out of sight. And lately, America has been doing a whole lot of looking away. When Black Americans said they were being killed during traffic stops and routine encounters, the response from many leaders wasn’t concern; it was irritation. Instead of saying, “Let’s fix the problem so fewer people die,” we heard “Blue Lives Matter,” “Stop resisting,” and “BLM is a terrorist group.” A man died in a chokehold on camera. We all saw, from the beginning to the end. It was like a modern-day lynching. Millions marched peacefully. The answer from those in power was “law and order,” and “...
On Saturday, I was looking at Facebook and a person I was friends with, in fact, someone I went to High School with, posted something I knew was wrong. The post claimed that four lawmakers in Colorado decided jail time shouldn’t be mandatory for people who committed sexual assault of children. She claimed they were pedophile protectors. I opened up Perplexity and asked about the situation, and this is the reply I got back: You’re referring to a recent controversy in Colorado over a proposed bill that would change sentencing rules for certain sex crimes. Here are the verified facts to clarify what’s actually happening: • In early 2026, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee held a vote on a sentencing reform bill that aimed to give judges more discretion in certain felony cases. • Some lawmakers voted against an amendment that would have made mandatory prison sentences apply to all sex crimes, including child sexual assault, preferring instead to let judges determine sentences...
Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
