The lying has got to stop. There have been many times in my life were I thought I was right about something that turned out wrong. Being wrong is not lying. All of us are wrong from time to time. Liars are people that say things they and others know are not true but don’t care. They say them anyway. They make stuff up because there are people out there that will listen and not bother to check.

Of course, the worst lie is what they call the “big lie”, the lie that the election was stolen. Now this lie serves the Republican Party in many ways. First it is, meant to undermine the legitimacy of the Biden Presidency. Another reason is to show doubt in our voting system. Trump’s own administration has stated that it was the most secure election in history. I always thought securing our elections was part of the Department of Justice, you know the FBI.   I would think the FBI would have a group where all they do is investigate voter fraud. If the FBI can’t find voter fraud, with all their resources, how can the My Pillow Guy?  When Trump was elected the big story was Russian interference in the election. The FBI and CIA both stated that there was Russian interference in our election. Many chose not to believe our Department of Justice then and many chose not to believe our Department of Justice now. I will point out that the Department of Justice falls under the jurisdiction of the Attorney General which is a cabinet position. That lie has led to the introduction of laws meant to suppress voters in a lot of the states like Georgia.

There are some people out there that would rather believe the lie than search for the truth. Why? I think it is just easier to believe the lie. Trump basically said, “the in the art of the deal”. “I play tp people’s fantasies. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthfuk hyperhole. It is an innocent form of exaggeration and it’s a very effective promotion”. Fearing that anti-German sentiments during and after World War II would negatively affect his business, Fred Trump began claiming to be Swedish descent. The falsehood was repeated by Fred’s son Donald to the press and in The Art Of The Deal, where he claimed that his grandfather Fredrick Trump came here from Sweden as a child. In the same book Donald also said his father was born in New Jersey, Trump later said , “My father is German. Right? Was German. Born in a very wonderful place in Germany and so I have a great feeling for Germany” Trumps father was born in the Bronx, New York.  Now, what made people think he would start telling the truth when he became President?

Is every President truthful? Well let’s just say that the biggest liars are remembered as those liars. Not far from Trump was Clinton and his “I did not have sex with that woman”, when in reality he did. He lied under oath and deserved to be impeached. He will always be tied to that woman forever.  Nixon with is “I am not a crook”. He helped cover-up the Watergate break-in and will always be remembered with that remark. Biden is not perfect and has done things I think were wrong like his treatment of Anita Hill and his three strikes and you out which proved to hurt minorities worse. Though not perfect, I always thought of him as a good man that has been willing to evolve.

Now we have a whole new generation of people that want to mislead the public and because of the internet and social networking it is a lot easier to spread lies and misleading information. Marjorie Taylor Greene with her lasers from space causing the forest fires in California and Hillary killing JFK Jr. because she saw him as a rival to her Senate seat. How this lady can be a rising star in the Republican Party I will never be able to figure out. Another one is Madison Cawthorn. I did not know too much about Madison until lately and again I have to scratch my head.  He got D’s in college and had to drop out because of a head injury which he said he sustained in an accident. That would be sad but then he is smart enough to run for Congress? That was just one of many questionable statements the he made. When I read his bio I see a man looking for a free ride but you can decide for yourself.   Then there is Matt Gaetz, he is from my state of Florida and suppose to be another rising star. He lied when stated that Antifa stormed the capital on Jan 6th. Why would he say something like that when everyone knew it was a lie?   Last, but not least, is Lauren Boebert the Congresswomen from Colorado. She said that she carries a gun because a man was beaten outside her bar and needless to say that has been disputed.

Now the Democrats have their new faces too like AOC who I may not always agree with but do find refreshing. She may not always be right but she is not a liar as far as I can see. She is antagonistic but not threatening. Don’t know if I would want her to be my President but I do think that she has a huge heart and is as smart as a whip.  She is a member of the Squad.

I hate to say this but I find the young Democrats more truthful than the young Republicans. I find them more assertive and less boastful. Disageeing with someone does not mean that either of you are lying. It just mean that you see the situation differently. You may disagree with me but please do your research. Research is not FOX news or CNN. Look up their bios. Look to see what they stand for. Look to see who they stand for and who they stand with.

Tommy Tuberville made a comment about Biden eating an ice cream cone in New York City. He posted on X that “Hope @JoeBiden enjoyed going out for ice cream in NYC while the rest of the city is afraid of crime and migrants”. If Senator Tuberville was really an informed and knowledgeable lawmaker he would know that Alabama, the State that he represents in the Senate, has a murder rate that is three times the rate of New York City. I wonder if this is a case of another Republican lying and giving misinformation in an attempt to weaken our nation or is he just a politician that doesn’t have a clue to the real problems that face the nation and the State he is suppose to represent. Maybe it would help if Tuberville actually lived in the State he is supposed to represent. If you believe the Washington Post he actually lives in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. I have been to Santa Rosa Beach and I have to admit it is beautiful there but that should not be an excuse for not living in the State you r
If I was a parent of a handicapped or developmentally disabled child I would be very nervous right now. If I was a parent of a Gay or Tran’s child I would be very nervous. Why? I think that we have a person running for the office of President that thinks that it is ok to mock people with disabilities. President Biden is a stutterer and he has worked hard to overcome that disability. That should be something that should be an inspiration to not only people with disabilities but to the entire nation. He is a man that has risen above his stuttering to achieve remarkable things. By Trump mocking Biden because of his stuttering he is sending a message to the entire country it is ok to bully other people just because they are different or have a disability. Now Biden is a grown man that has had to endure bullying like that all his life and he has come out probably stronger because of it. Not everyone is as strong as Biden. Biden is not the first person that Trump has insulted because a h
Trump’s oath of office, his lawyers are saying that Trump never took an oath to support the Constitution. Why would his lawyers say this? The reason is because the Presidential oath of office does not have the word “Support” in it. The Presidential oath uses the words “Preserve, Protect, and Defend” the Constitution. Why would the Presidential oath not use the word support? Could it be that the President is held to a higher standard than just support the Constitution? I have read that is the reason why that the words “Preserve, Protect and Defend” are used is to show the greater responsibility the President has to the Constitution. I think Trump’s lawyers want us to believe that Trump had less of a responsibility to our Constitution because the word “Support” is not in his oath. I think just the opposite; he had a stronger responsibility and failed at that responsibility, badly. Maybe that is because he never read the Constitution of the United States. Trump’s lawyers also say Sect
