The lying has got to stop. There have been many times in my life were I thought I was right about something that turned out wrong. Being wrong is not lying. All of us are wrong from time to time. Liars are people that say things they and others know are not true but don’t care. They say them anyway. They make stuff up because there are people out there that will listen and not bother to check.

Of course, the worst lie is what they call the “big lie”, the lie that the election was stolen. Now this lie serves the Republican Party in many ways. First it is, meant to undermine the legitimacy of the Biden Presidency. Another reason is to show doubt in our voting system. Trump’s own administration has stated that it was the most secure election in history. I always thought securing our elections was part of the Department of Justice, you know the FBI.   I would think the FBI would have a group where all they do is investigate voter fraud. If the FBI can’t find voter fraud, with all their resources, how can the My Pillow Guy?  When Trump was elected the big story was Russian interference in the election. The FBI and CIA both stated that there was Russian interference in our election. Many chose not to believe our Department of Justice then and many chose not to believe our Department of Justice now. I will point out that the Department of Justice falls under the jurisdiction of the Attorney General which is a cabinet position. That lie has led to the introduction of laws meant to suppress voters in a lot of the states like Georgia. 

There are some people out there that would rather believe the lie than search for the truth. Why? I think it is just easier to believe the lie. Trump basically said, “the in the art of the deal”. “I play tp people’s fantasies. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthfuk hyperhole. It is an innocent form of exaggeration and it’s a very effective promotion”. Fearing that anti-German sentiments during and after World War II would negatively affect his business, Fred Trump began claiming to be Swedish descent. The falsehood was repeated by Fred’s son Donald to the press and in The Art Of The Deal, where he claimed that his grandfather Fredrick Trump came here from Sweden as a child. In the same book Donald also said his father was born in New Jersey, Trump later said , “My father is German. Right? Was German. Born in a very wonderful place in Germany and so I have a great feeling for Germany” Trumps father was born in the Bronx, New York.  Now, what made people think he would start telling the truth when he became President?

Is every President truthful? Well let’s just say that the biggest liars are remembered as those liars. Not far from Trump was Clinton and his “I did not have sex with that woman”, when in reality he did. He lied under oath and deserved to be impeached. He will always be tied to that woman forever.  Nixon with is “I am not a crook”. He helped cover-up the Watergate break-in and will always be remembered with that remark. Biden is not perfect and has done things I think were wrong like his treatment of Anita Hill and his three strikes and you out which proved to hurt minorities worse. Though not perfect, I always thought of him as a good man that has been willing to evolve.

Now we have a whole new generation of people that want to mislead the public and because of the internet and social networking it is a lot easier to spread lies and misleading information. Marjorie Taylor Greene with her lasers from space causing the forest fires in California and Hillary killing JFK Jr. because she saw him as a rival to her Senate seat. How this lady can be a rising star in the Republican Party I will never be able to figure out. Another one is Madison Cawthorn. I did not know too much about Madison until lately and again I have to scratch my head.  He got D’s in college and had to drop out because of a head injury which he said he sustained in an accident. That would be sad but then he is smart enough to run for Congress? That was just one of many questionable statements the he made. When I read his bio I see a man looking for a free ride but you can decide for yourself.   Then there is Matt Gaetz, he is from my state of Florida and suppose to be another rising star. He lied when stated that Antifa stormed the capital on Jan 6th. Why would he say something like that when everyone knew it was a lie?   Last, but not least, is Lauren Boebert the Congresswomen from Colorado. She said that she carries a gun because a man was beaten outside her bar and needless to say that has been disputed. 

Now the Democrats have their new faces too like AOC who I may not always agree with but do find refreshing. She may not always be right but she is not a liar as far as I can see. She is antagonistic but not threatening. Don’t know if I would want her to be my President but I do think that she has a huge heart and is as smart as a whip.  She is a member of the Squad. 

I hate to say this but I find the young Democrats more truthful than the young Republicans. I find them more assertive and less boastful. Disageeing with someone does not mean that either of you are lying. It just mean that you see the situation differently.You may disagree with me but please do your research. Research is not FOX news or CNN. Look up their bios. Look to see what they stand for. Look to see who they stand for and who they stand with.

This is my continued search on whether Trump has the Character to be President. A person I know stated “His character matters bc it is in the character I believe he has the leadership, knowledge, wisdom, experience, compassion, integrity that will lead us on the path towards a more safe, secure, healthy, prosperous, free world than the direction we are headed.” My last blog looked at his character as integrity from a legal standpoint before he even was elected President. From a legal standpoint there is no way I would have thought he had the integrity to be President. Now I will look at some of his Moral Integrity and Compassion that should be there from the man that sits in the White House.  I have to say something about Donald Trump, he sure is a believer in the institution of marriage. He likes marriage so much that he has said “I do” three times. What his problem with marriage is the actual vow that he has to take. You know that love, honor, and cherish until death do us part. ...
  It is a new game but it is still being played just like the old one. Biden has chosen not to run for a 2 nd term and it looks like Kamala Harris will get the Democratic nomination. This drastically changes what the election will look like. Instead of two old white guys facing one another we will have a woman that is 19 years younger than the Republican nominee Donald Trump. Donald Trump went from saying Biden was too old and senile even though he was only three years younger than Biden to the old guy that appears to be too old and senile. Since Biden’s debate performance he had been under a considerable amount of pressure to drop out of the race. I have admitted in a past post when Biden came on stage he looked frail and in the beginning of the debate Trump’s tactics really confused Biden.
