As I am writing this today is Friday August 13th but it won’t be posted until tomorrow. The first thing I asked my wife when I got up this morning was “Did it Happen?” then I laughed. Today is Friday the 13th, National Kool-Aid Day and the pillow guy says the Supreme Court is going to reinstate the former guy as President. That is what I call a trifecta. You just can’t make this stuff up. Steven King or Douglas Preston could not do a better job of spinning a tale.  When this novel is over there is going to be a lot of disappointed Trump supporters out there.

I have been saying for some time that the lying has to stop. The pillow guy Mike Lindell is just off the wall. He has produced no evidence that the election was corrupt and there is no indication that any of his so called election fraud evidence is even being showed to a lower court let alone making it all the way to the Supreme Court. You just cannot walk up to the door of the Supreme Court with a box of evidence and say here look at this and reinstate the former guy. It doesn’t work that way. It never has and it never will. What it probably is, just one big grift to sell more products. The man does know how to make money and how to keep himself in the spotlight. Sounds a little like someone else we know, maybe the former guy? Mike Lindell is damaging our country and ripping people off so he can sell more pillows. I saw a speaker at Mike Lindell’s conference say that CNN has to stop Fact Checking and start reporting the news. What that guy is saying is that CNN should just start reporting the lies as facts. I hope all news outlets fact check all their news and the ones that don’t, start. News outlets should not be reporting lies but too many are. I will not tell you what news to watch or read but if they are telling you what to think instead of making you think for yourself you are watching the wrong news. I will tell you one News channel that I will not watch or read their articles and that is FOX.

Rudy Giuliani is still doing a good job keeping himself in the news these days but just maybe for all the wrong reasons. He is a former Officer of the Court and the former Mayor of one of the greatest cities in the World, New York City. What is keeping him is in the news is not all the great things that he has done. It has been reported in the news that in an interview with the DOJ in 2018 that he was under no obligation to tell the truth during the 2016 campaign. He was under no obligation to tell the truth. That is a very powerful statement from a man that was advising the President of the United States. The truth should have been all that mattered. The lying and the grab for power has left him not too well off financially. He has been abandoned by the guy that he did all the lying for which in a way is poetic justice. I do not feel sorry for him because it was the lying that got him in the trouble that he is in. He will have a hard time turning on Trump without making a bigger mess for himself. If he really was a great American at one time he should come clean. The real problem is if he was not under any obligation to tell the truth back then can we believe anything that he says now.

The Dominion Lawsuit will keep going on. The courts have ruled that the lawsuit against Sydney Powell, Rudy Giuliani and Mike Lindell can continue. They all have pretty much have admitted that they were lying. Sydney Powell went so far as to say that no sane person should have believed what she was saying was the truth. They lie; they caused great damage to the reputation of Dominion and then think that it is no big deal. Well I think that it is a big deal. Their lying will cost Dominion lots of money. Pennsylvania has decertified their voting system and I believe so has other states. There has been done, what may be, irreparable damage to Dominion. Is Freedom giving someone the right to lie? I am sorry but lying has nothing to do with Freedom. If anything the lying that they have done has just fed to the fire of insurrection and treason that is trying to destroy or democracy. I will go as far to say that the damage that has been done by those three and others have done more to weaken our democracy than any attack ever done by Al Qaeda. Attacks from within are meant to divide and weaken us. Those three and many more have aided and encouraged domestic terrorism and they think that they should bear no responsibility.

One of the commandments in the Bible says you shall not bear false witness. I was wondering if the Evangelic Church has just thrown that one out and that there are only nine commandments. Oh wait, they have probably thrown out the one about adultery too. Is there only 8? No, how about the one that say you shouldn’t have any gods before him. I saw that golden statue of Trump so they must have thrown out that one. Now we are down to 7. Trump golf every Sunday so the one to remember the Sabbath must have been thrown out too.  He never went to church unless communion was held on the 19th hole. Now we are down to 6. Oh, and Trump said that he could shoot someone and not lose a single vote. So much for though shall not kill. Now we are down to 5. There is not much left of the Evangelical faith after Trump. I once thought that faith was a blessing that had never been bestowed on me. Now I am glad it hasn’t been: Too many lies and too much death.

Tommy Tuberville made a comment about Biden eating an ice cream cone in New York City. He posted on X that “Hope @JoeBiden enjoyed going out for ice cream in NYC while the rest of the city is afraid of crime and migrants”. If Senator Tuberville was really an informed and knowledgeable lawmaker he would know that Alabama, the State that he represents in the Senate, has a murder rate that is three times the rate of New York City. I wonder if this is a case of another Republican lying and giving misinformation in an attempt to weaken our nation or is he just a politician that doesn’t have a clue to the real problems that face the nation and the State he is suppose to represent. Maybe it would help if Tuberville actually lived in the State he is supposed to represent. If you believe the Washington Post he actually lives in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. I have been to Santa Rosa Beach and I have to admit it is beautiful there but that should not be an excuse for not living in the State you r
If I was a parent of a handicapped or developmentally disabled child I would be very nervous right now. If I was a parent of a Gay or Tran’s child I would be very nervous. Why? I think that we have a person running for the office of President that thinks that it is ok to mock people with disabilities. President Biden is a stutterer and he has worked hard to overcome that disability. That should be something that should be an inspiration to not only people with disabilities but to the entire nation. He is a man that has risen above his stuttering to achieve remarkable things. By Trump mocking Biden because of his stuttering he is sending a message to the entire country it is ok to bully other people just because they are different or have a disability. Now Biden is a grown man that has had to endure bullying like that all his life and he has come out probably stronger because of it. Not everyone is as strong as Biden. Biden is not the first person that Trump has insulted because a h
Trump’s oath of office, his lawyers are saying that Trump never took an oath to support the Constitution. Why would his lawyers say this? The reason is because the Presidential oath of office does not have the word “Support” in it. The Presidential oath uses the words “Preserve, Protect, and Defend” the Constitution. Why would the Presidential oath not use the word support? Could it be that the President is held to a higher standard than just support the Constitution? I have read that is the reason why that the words “Preserve, Protect and Defend” are used is to show the greater responsibility the President has to the Constitution. I think Trump’s lawyers want us to believe that Trump had less of a responsibility to our Constitution because the word “Support” is not in his oath. I think just the opposite; he had a stronger responsibility and failed at that responsibility, badly. Maybe that is because he never read the Constitution of the United States. Trump’s lawyers also say Sect
