I will start this out by saying if you ask me if I have been vaccinated I will just say “YES”. I will not try to fool you like some people and say that I have been immunized. When someone asks you if you have been vaccinated they are asking because one, they are curious and two, they want to feel safe around you. If anybody asks me that question I will always answer “yes”. Why, because the safety of the people around me is important. By being vaccinated I feel that I just may be helping save lives and the life that I save may be a love one or a neighbor.

I have been a lifelong Green Bay Packer Fan. I greatly enjoyed the 60s with the great Lombardi teams. I suffered with them through the 70s and 80s. I got to enjoy the wisdom of Ron Wolfe what he brought to the team that has continued on to today.  I have loved the rollercoaster ride of Bret Favre of one success and then all the near misses. He was a gunslinger with the football which was always entertaining. I got to agonize on the awkward departure of Favre when it became time to give Aaron Rodgers the football. I have been to Lambeau Field and have toured the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame. I have made the pilgrimage to Canton to pay homage to the greats of the game but especially the great Packers. I even complained when I was there that Jerry Kramer was not in the Hall yet and then two years later they corrected that mistake. Over 60 years I have loved the Green Bay Packers and have stood by them as a true fan should.

Sunday I got of witness Jordan Love make his first start as a Green Bay Packer. It was not the way I would have liked him to make his first start but you have to play with the hand that was dealt and we were dealt a pretty crappy hand. With 4 days before the highly anticipate matchup between Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, Rodgers test positive for Covid. I was like; wait a minute I thought that he was vaccinated? If he was vaccinated he would still have a chance to play. I turns out that he had not been, what I would consider, honest. When asked if he had been vaccinated he said that “yah had been immunized”. That is what I would call an affirmative answer to the question, have you been vaccinated? So Aaron Rodgers lied to all the reporters and Green Bay Packer fans. When asked if he had vaccinated he said Yah then he played with words but saying he had been immunized.  Now he is sounding like all those other anti vaccine people talking about what Terry Bradshaw called taking horse dewormer. He always acts like he is the smartest person in the room but right now he is sounding pretty dumb. He tries to play the victim blaming with “woke culture”. To me being woke is like opening my eyes and opening my eyes to a man that was not honest is being woke then I am woke. Each NFL team has a medical staff that is there to advise the players but who does Rodgers ask?  Comedian and friend Joe Rogan.  That to me is not doing my own research. I have to say he is acting more like a Qanon member than one of the smartest guys in the room.

Aaron Rodgers lies and then he plays the victim. For a really smart guy he hasn’t played this one very smart. He has one sponsor drop him and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more. Being a liar is not exactly a good look for a Jeopardy host either. Honesty is always the best policy but why was he not honest. Other football players have been honest about their status. He is the leader of the Green Bay Packers and from any leader you expect honesty from them. You expect your leader to have your back. You really don’t get vaccinated to protect yourself. You get vaccinated to protect the ones around you. I believe 94 percent of the entire NFL is vaccinated. He must think he is more important than the ones around you and maybe that is why he has only won one Superbowl. He has not shown very much respect for the health of the press or of the other players on the field. He was at a Halloween party; did everyone at the party know that he wasn’t vaccinated?

As I started, I am vaccinated. People get vaccinated more for their loved ones than for themselves. I would feel just awful if I gave Covid to anyone. Vaccinate and mask up folks. This ain't over yet. The person you save may be loved one or a neighbor. I have always masked up and I am still. I don’t know how many lives I have saved but I do know that by masking up I have saved lives. That is a great feeling.

  1. Some people think of others. They want to protect not just themselves, but everyone.
    Empathicc behavior.
Some people think only of themselves. Others have no value. This is sociopathic behavior. Or Aaron Rodgers behavior. Take your pick. One and the same.

  2. Aaron Rodgers has destroyed any credibility he had and for what. He comes across as a chicken shit.
My own family in Canada, America and Ireland are all fully vaccinated. Many of them are in the medical field.
We do what is right to keep society safe.

Tommy Tuberville made a comment about Biden eating an ice cream cone in New York City. He posted on X that “Hope @JoeBiden enjoyed going out for ice cream in NYC while the rest of the city is afraid of crime and migrants”. If Senator Tuberville was really an informed and knowledgeable lawmaker he would know that Alabama, the State that he represents in the Senate, has a murder rate that is three times the rate of New York City. I wonder if this is a case of another Republican lying and giving misinformation in an attempt to weaken our nation or is he just a politician that doesn’t have a clue to the real problems that face the nation and the State he is suppose to represent. Maybe it would help if Tuberville actually lived in the State he is supposed to represent. If you believe the Washington Post he actually lives in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. I have been to Santa Rosa Beach and I have to admit it is beautiful there but that should not be an excuse for not living in the State you r
If I was a parent of a handicapped or developmentally disabled child I would be very nervous right now. If I was a parent of a Gay or Tran’s child I would be very nervous. Why? I think that we have a person running for the office of President that thinks that it is ok to mock people with disabilities. President Biden is a stutterer and he has worked hard to overcome that disability. That should be something that should be an inspiration to not only people with disabilities but to the entire nation. He is a man that has risen above his stuttering to achieve remarkable things. By Trump mocking Biden because of his stuttering he is sending a message to the entire country it is ok to bully other people just because they are different or have a disability. Now Biden is a grown man that has had to endure bullying like that all his life and he has come out probably stronger because of it. Not everyone is as strong as Biden. Biden is not the first person that Trump has insulted because a h
Trump’s oath of office, his lawyers are saying that Trump never took an oath to support the Constitution. Why would his lawyers say this? The reason is because the Presidential oath of office does not have the word “Support” in it. The Presidential oath uses the words “Preserve, Protect, and Defend” the Constitution. Why would the Presidential oath not use the word support? Could it be that the President is held to a higher standard than just support the Constitution? I have read that is the reason why that the words “Preserve, Protect and Defend” are used is to show the greater responsibility the President has to the Constitution. I think Trump’s lawyers want us to believe that Trump had less of a responsibility to our Constitution because the word “Support” is not in his oath. I think just the opposite; he had a stronger responsibility and failed at that responsibility, badly. Maybe that is because he never read the Constitution of the United States. Trump’s lawyers also say Sect
