I will start this out by saying if you ask me if I have been vaccinated I will just say “YES”. I will not try to fool you like some people and say that I have been immunized. When someone asks you if you have been vaccinated they are asking because one, they are curious and two, they want to feel safe around you. If anybody asks me that question I will always answer “yes”. Why, because the safety of the people around me is important. By being vaccinated I feel that I just may be helping save lives and the life that I save may be a love one or a neighbor.

I have been a lifelong Green Bay Packer Fan. I greatly enjoyed the 60s with the great Lombardi teams. I suffered with them through the 70s and 80s. I got to enjoy the wisdom of Ron Wolfe what he brought to the team that has continued on to today.  I have loved the rollercoaster ride of Bret Favre of one success and then all the near misses. He was a gunslinger with the football which was always entertaining. I got to agonize on the awkward departure of Favre when it became time to give Aaron Rodgers the football. I have been to Lambeau Field and have toured the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame. I have made the pilgrimage to Canton to pay homage to the greats of the game but especially the great Packers. I even complained when I was there that Jerry Kramer was not in the Hall yet and then two years later they corrected that mistake. Over 60 years I have loved the Green Bay Packers and have stood by them as a true fan should.

Sunday I got of witness Jordan Love make his first start as a Green Bay Packer. It was not the way I would have liked him to make his first start but you have to play with the hand that was dealt and we were dealt a pretty crappy hand. With 4 days before the highly anticipate matchup between Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, Rodgers test positive for Covid. I was like; wait a minute I thought that he was vaccinated? If he was vaccinated he would still have a chance to play. I turns out that he had not been, what I would consider, honest. When asked if he had been vaccinated he said that “yah had been immunized”. That is what I would call an affirmative answer to the question, have you been vaccinated? So Aaron Rodgers lied to all the reporters and Green Bay Packer fans. When asked if he had vaccinated he said Yah then he played with words but saying he had been immunized.  Now he is sounding like all those other anti vaccine people talking about what Terry Bradshaw called taking horse dewormer. He always acts like he is the smartest person in the room but right now he is sounding pretty dumb. He tries to play the victim blaming with “woke culture”. To me being woke is like opening my eyes and opening my eyes to a man that was not honest is being woke then I am woke. Each NFL team has a medical staff that is there to advise the players but who does Rodgers ask?  Comedian and friend Joe Rogan.  That to me is not doing my own research. I have to say he is acting more like a Qanon member than one of the smartest guys in the room.

Aaron Rodgers lies and then he plays the victim. For a really smart guy he hasn’t played this one very smart. He has one sponsor drop him and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more. Being a liar is not exactly a good look for a Jeopardy host either. Honesty is always the best policy but why was he not honest. Other football players have been honest about their status. He is the leader of the Green Bay Packers and from any leader you expect honesty from them. You expect your leader to have your back. You really don’t get vaccinated to protect yourself. You get vaccinated to protect the ones around you. I believe 94 percent of the entire NFL is vaccinated. He must think he is more important than the ones around you and maybe that is why he has only won one Superbowl. He has not shown very much respect for the health of the press or of the other players on the field. He was at a Halloween party; did everyone at the party know that he wasn’t vaccinated?

As I started, I am vaccinated. People get vaccinated more for their loved ones than for themselves. I would feel just awful if I gave Covid to anyone. Vaccinate and mask up folks. This ain't over yet. The person you save may be loved one or a neighbor. I have always masked up and I am still. I don’t know how many lives I have saved but I do know that by masking up I have saved lives. That is a great feeling.

  2. Aaron Rodgers has destroyed any credibility he had and for what. He comes across as a chicken shit.
    My own family in Canada, America and Ireland are all fully vaccinated. Many of them are in the medical field.
    We do what is right to keep society safe.

This is my continued search on whether Trump has the Character to be President. A person I know stated “His character matters bc it is in the character I believe he has the leadership, knowledge, wisdom, experience, compassion, integrity that will lead us on the path towards a more safe, secure, healthy, prosperous, free world than the direction we are headed.” My last blog looked at his character as integrity from a legal standpoint before he even was elected President. From a legal standpoint there is no way I would have thought he had the integrity to be President.   It is a new game but it is still being played just like the old one. Biden has chosen not to run for a 2 nd term and it looks like Kamala Harris will get the Democratic nomination. This drastically changes what the election will look like. Instead of two old white guys facing one another we will have a woman that is 19 years younger than the Republican nominee Donald Trump. Donald Trump went from saying Biden was too old and senile even though he was only three years younger than Biden to the old guy that appears to be too old and senile. Since Biden’s debate performance he had been under a considerable amount of pressure to drop out of the race. I have admitted in a past post when Biden came on stage he looked frail and in the beginning of the debate Trump’s tactics really confused Biden.
