I keep reading on the news that the Biden administration approval rating is in the toilet. I see right now that it is tracking anywhere between 40 and 45 percent approval rating. He had a high at one point of 57 percent but it has been declining. During his time in office his administration has helped pass one of the biggest infrastructure plans in a long time, maybe going as far back as the Eisenhower administration. Our infrastructure had been badly ignored for the last 40 years so something really needed to be done. Past administrations like the Trump administration talked about infrastructure but did nothing. It got done under Biden. After such sweeping legislation you would think that his popularity would sky rocket. People for both parties in every state will benefit from it. Most of the numbers have looked good from the stock market to employment. Wages are up but so in inflation. To read what a lot of the press is saying you would think that the sky is falling. I don’t mean the conservative press. Biden could find a cure for cancer and their headline would be that Biden has caused the unemployment of Oncologists. I am talking about news outlets like MSNBC.

The Biden administration inherited a mess. A divided America that was intentionally divided by Trump and the Republican Party that Trump now seems to own. Biden can everything right and a third of the country is going to hate him. That is one of the crimes of the two party system and someone being a member of one of the parties. So the highest you could expect an approval rating to be would be about 65 percent so when Biden was a 57 percent you could say that he was doing a real good job but with a swing down to 40 percent you could say that he is doing a bad job. What is my reasoning for thinking that way? Well as I see in one third of the country is Democrats, and third of the country is Republican and about one third of the country is Independent. The one third will always hate you and one third will always love you. The people that can really tell you if someone is doing a good job are the independents the ones in the middle.

Now I have been very disappointed in some of the things that have not happened during Biden’s time in office so far. The thing that I am mostly disappointed in is the Department of Justice. We witnessed a lot of corruption and we have seen very little accountability during Trump’s time in office. Under Trump the Justice Department seemed like he wanted it to be his own personal army not a Department looking for the truth which this country desperately needed. Our Capitol was attacked by domestic terrorists that were sent by the outgoing President of the United States. I have seen a few of the poor suckers that believed the lies get, what I consider, very light sentences but I have not seen any real accountability. The Russian investigation was just a whitewash by the Trump Justice Department and because of that we will continue to have real questions about the integrity of our Justice Department. My god the Governor of Virginia’s son who was a minor voted twice and I haven’t seen him arrested but we had a black women in Texas Crystal Mason get sentenced for to 5 years for voting by mistake. I was hoping that we would get real justice and real accountability when he took office and I have seen not seen that. Does that mean that I want Trump back? Hell no! Does that mean that I will vote for the party that wants to destroy our democracy? Hell no. Just because I am not happy with the criminal justice system under the Biden administration does not mean that I want the criminals back.

One thing that I have been saying from day one is that voting reform was the number one issue facing the Biden Administration because it is actually the number one issue threatening our democracy. He has failed to unite the Democratic Party to rectify the issue. His power has been limited when it come to voting rights. The Republicans and the filibuster have stood in the way. The Democrats are all united on voting rights it seems but they are not united on ending the issue of the filibuster to accomplish it. The filibuster is not Biden’s fault. When I vote for someone I don’t want them to just blindly follow the party or the President. I understand a respect a member of Congress that will stand up to their party when they think it is wrong. The last Republican John McCain that I voted for was like that. Voting rights and the survival of our Democracy is worth doing away with the filibuster.

Do not think that because I am disappointed in Biden means that I was happier with Trump. Do not think that in 2022 I will vote for the party that wants to end our democracy. We must treat every single election as a referendum for democracy and our Constitution against fascism and America’s version of Apartheid. We must unite again the Racism and bigotry that any political party brings to the table. Voter suppression will just bring about American Apartheid and in the end Fascism.

There’s a simple way to judge a country: look at whose lives it protects, and whose lives it’s willing to forget. For years now, we’ve heard the phrase “All Lives Matter.” It sounds fair. It sounds equal. It sounds like common sense. But a country doesn’t reveal its values through slogans. It reveals them through actions, through the lives it defends, the lives it ignores, and the lives it quietly pushes out of sight. And lately, America has been doing a whole lot of looking away. When Black Americans said they were being killed during traffic stops and routine encounters, the response from many leaders wasn’t concern; it was irritation. Instead of saying, “Let’s fix the problem so fewer people die,” we heard “Blue Lives Matter,” “Stop resisting,” and “BLM is a terrorist group.” A man died in a chokehold on camera. We all saw, from the beginning to the end. It was like a modern-day lynching. Millions marched peacefully. The answer from those in power was “law and order,” and “...
On Saturday, I was looking at Facebook and a person I was friends with, in fact, someone I went to High School with, posted something I knew was wrong. The post claimed that four lawmakers in Colorado decided jail time shouldn’t be mandatory for people who committed sexual assault of children. She claimed they were pedophile protectors. I opened up Perplexity and asked about the situation, and this is the reply I got back: You’re referring to a recent controversy in Colorado over a proposed bill that would change sentencing rules for certain sex crimes. Here are the verified facts to clarify what’s actually happening: • In early 2026, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee held a vote on a sentencing reform bill that aimed to give judges more discretion in certain felony cases. • Some lawmakers voted against an amendment that would have made mandatory prison sentences apply to all sex crimes, including child sexual assault, preferring instead to let judges determine sentences...
Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
