What has happened to the rule of the law in the United States? Are our elected officials not supposed to follow the rule of the law? We are not supposed to be a country that has a system where the nobility answers to different law than the serfs. In fact, we are supposed to be a country that doesn’t have nobility and serfs. Our Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal. We are founded on equality as a guiding principle but now as a country we are not living it. We have a Constitution that is suppose to make sure the law and our form of Government is applied equally. The Constitution is not a political document and the people that have the duty to protect it should not use politics as a way of twisting it to one party’s advantage.

All members of our government are employees of the government and the rules are supposed to be the same for all no matter what the political party is. Why was Hillary’s private email server wrong? It is because she was employed by us and so, in reality her official emails is suppose to be ours, the people that employed her. The same with Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice who both had private emails. It is not like a situation where they are all either wrong or they are all either right. It is a situation that they were all wrong because those emails were ours, the United States of America who employed them. Is the sky going to fall because of their practices? Probably not, but how can you have proper oversight? That is always the question.

The Trump group at Mar lago Trumps personal residence has now returned 15 boxes of records and notes that his administration took from Washington when he left office. All this information was suppose to go to the National Archives. They are not his records; they are ours which you could say that he stole from the American people, his employer. This is illegal. If an employee had done that to him he would have had him or her in court faster that you can say Jimmy Cricket. If he took 15 boxes how do we know that he didn’t take more? How do we know what if he destroyed any? Why has a search warrant not been issued for the FBI to search for more documents that may have been stolen from the American people? Where is the Department of Justice in all of this? What about the Secret Service. I know that data protection is not part of their direct responsibility but they are still part of Homeland Security and they work with various other departments of the Federal Government. If they observe a crime shouldn’t they report it? They all took an oath. How many broke that oath? We know Trump did.

Stories are now coming out Trump flushed documents down the toilet and even ate a document. How many documents were destroyed and shredded? Some of these reports are probably true and some are probably an exaggeration. The American people deserve the truth. Not only an investigation but also accountability for any wrong doing. His crimes may be not only against the America Government they may be against the American People. Worse is what did he have to hide? Talk about a lack of transparency. His supporters screamed “lock her up” and were upset that Hillary never went to jail. Hillary’s email server looks like jay walking compared to what Trump did. She was just a Secretary of State. He was the President of the United States and he more than likely destroyed historical documents that belonged to the American People.

The Republican Party went after Hillary like she was a member of the James gang and had robbed too many banks. I do not see the Democrats going after Trump like that. Yes we have the 1/6 commission but I do not see Biden using the Department of Justice like Trump did by trying to make them his personal goon squad. Trump was and still is a crook. The Republican Party knew that when he was running in the primaries. When he won the nomination they rallied around a crook like he was sent by Jesus to save America from the socialistic Democrats. In return, he turned them into a party that does no longer support our Constitution and will resort to violence to try and over throw our Republic. There are clear choices now. Do you want our Republic for which it stands or do you want it to be destroyed by the very people that took an oath to protect it?

There’s a simple way to judge a country: look at whose lives it protects, and whose lives it’s willing to forget. For years now, we’ve heard the phrase “All Lives Matter.” It sounds fair. It sounds equal. It sounds like common sense. But a country doesn’t reveal its values through slogans. It reveals them through actions, through the lives it defends, the lives it ignores, and the lives it quietly pushes out of sight. And lately, America has been doing a whole lot of looking away. When Black Americans said they were being killed during traffic stops and routine encounters, the response from many leaders wasn’t concern; it was irritation. Instead of saying, “Let’s fix the problem so fewer people die,” we heard “Blue Lives Matter,” “Stop resisting,” and “BLM is a terrorist group.” A man died in a chokehold on camera. We all saw, from the beginning to the end. It was like a modern-day lynching. Millions marched peacefully. The answer from those in power was “law and order,” and “...
On Saturday, I was looking at Facebook and a person I was friends with, in fact, someone I went to High School with, posted something I knew was wrong. The post claimed that four lawmakers in Colorado decided jail time shouldn’t be mandatory for people who committed sexual assault of children. She claimed they were pedophile protectors. I opened up Perplexity and asked about the situation, and this is the reply I got back: You’re referring to a recent controversy in Colorado over a proposed bill that would change sentencing rules for certain sex crimes. Here are the verified facts to clarify what’s actually happening: • In early 2026, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee held a vote on a sentencing reform bill that aimed to give judges more discretion in certain felony cases. • Some lawmakers voted against an amendment that would have made mandatory prison sentences apply to all sex crimes, including child sexual assault, preferring instead to let judges determine sentences...
Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
