When will we start seeing some action by the Department of Justice? I don’t care which branch, any branch will do. I see no one in our Justice System seems to care about the law. Marjorie Taylor Greene lies on the witness stand, nothing. Matthew Cawthorn has broken the law multiple times. There are people that were sentience to life in prison for three strikes. How many Strikes does Cawthorn get? Trump leads an insurrection, nothing. Many Republicans, in my opinion, aided in that insurrection or at the least aided in the cover-up if the insurrection. In some ways I have lost respect for the Judicial System. If the system is meant to keeps the masses in line and not our leaders it is not really a Justice System. A Justice System cannot have multiple rules depending on your financial class and what power you hold in our Government. In fact, maybe they should be held to a higher standard not a lower standard. Also Democrats and Republicans need to be held to the same standard.

When a member of Congress, the Executive Branch, or the Judicial Branch breaks the law the public needs to know be our Judicial System will be treating them the same as the homeless man on the corner. Handcuffs, rights read, and hauled off to jail just like the rest of us. They should be held there till arraignment just like the rest of us. When this country was established it was established on equal justice under the law. Is that happening today? I don’t think so. I look at the lady in Texas, Crystal Mason who was sentenced for 5 years for voting by mistake. She was helped by a poll worker and her ballot was a provisional ballot so it was never even counted. She made a mistake and was made an example of. Oh, and I should also say that she was Black. Now there were multiple people in the Villages in Florida that knowingly voted twice. Once in their home state and once in Florida. They were arrested but were they sentenced to 5 years in jail like Crystal Mason? Their offense was worse. They knowingly committed voter fraud where Mason was lead to believe that she could vote legally. There was no mistake about it. They avoided jail time by agreeing to participate in 50 hrs of community service and take a three-month civics class. Oh, did I mention that they were White? Is this equal justice? We do not have equal justice in America because color and race does matter in this country no matter what anyone says. The people that say otherwise are lying to you and you know that.

People like to throw the word Constitution around like it is a weapon. It is a document that is meant to govern us. Some have described it as a living, breathing document that can be amended to change with the times. Immigration is not a big subject in the Constitution so when you have politicians saying that immigrants are trampling on our constitution I just would like to know that part. Article 1 section 8 grants Congress the responsibility to establish an uniform Rules of Naturalization. We also have the 14th Amendment constitutes a Naturalized Citizen.  I would like to point out that the word President isn’t there, it is Congress. I would almost think that it is a failure of Congress that we have the mess that we have. I have research and written immigration before and I probably will again. I Could Be Wrong. (cbwrong.blogspot.com) My point here is that politicians like Marjorie Taylor Greene throw around words like immigrants are trampling on our constitution and hoping that you won’t figure out that she does not have a clue what she is talking about. She is just playing to your bigotry and hate and hoping that you forget that she probably lied under oath.

I am one of those people that have a hard time keeping silent. Maybe it was growing up in the sixties that did that but I don’t know. I do know that at the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago the chant was that “The Whole World Is Watching” and they were because of honest journalism and television coverage. The whole world is watching but I think that in the future our television news will be a thing of the past. Why? Well for one thing it can no longer be trusted. Rupert Murdock did that. When our news is more like the National Enquire than what Walter Cronkite did our television news has a real problem. More and more younger people are turning to the internet for their news. I am not a young person but that is where I am turning too. I may turn into the local news just to keep informed about local stuff but not Fox or CNN. Today what is being spread more than just news, it is ideas. People seeing a problem and then expressing ideas. Topics like is immigration as big of a problem and what can be done? There are groups of people that have a thirst for knowledge and don’t want to be told what to think. There are groups of people out there that search for the truth by navigating though the lies. I for one do not like being lied to. Yes both parties have lied but lying has been taken to a new level.

Can our Justice do something about that? Well yes. They can start with Marjorie Taylor Greene because she lied under oath. You can start by arresting the people that tried to overthrow our Government. All of them. Not just the little guy that was duped into believing the lie. There seems to be no more consequences for the people that have attacked our Constitution. That is what happened Jan, 6^th and I am pretty sure that is how history will write about it. The whole world is watching and in many cases wondering what has happened to America? Truth, Justice, and the American way are just words and the world in witnessing that.
