I am going to start this out with a revisit of the Jack Del Rio, Jr. situation. Jack Del Rio Sr. Jack’s father was a youth football coach and I will add that he is very well respected. He didn’t care what color was any of his players and from what I have read many of the kids that played with Jack Jr. didn’t understand where Jack’s recent comments were coming from. It seemed every player enjoyed playing for Jack. Jr. So, where did this come from? How could such a man not know what he was saying was racist? He issued an apology for saying that the attack on our Democracy was just a dust up but stood by his words about community violence. I do not know a single person that justifies the violence during any protests. Some of the violence was done by angry blacks that were angry against a system that targets them. Some were anarchist that were there just to riot. Some were White Supremacists were there to confront the black protestors. Some was instigated by the police. Lastly, some were there to make the Black Live Protestors looks bad. Look there are people out there that want to make the Black Live Protestors so bad that they claimed that they were the ones that attacked the Capitol on January 6th pretending to be White Supremists. That accusation was made from the floor on Congress. Jack Del Rio had access to all this information just like me but still made the comments. If Jack would have done his research before he opened his mouth maybe he would have stayed silent. I would like to ask Jack these questions. Jack have you ever asked one of your Black Friends or Black team mates what it is like to be racially profiled?  Jack have you ever had to fear that your children would be targeted just for being Black? Jack did you ever have to coach your child how to act if they were ever stopped by the police? If Jack would have asked some of those questions maybe he would have had a better understanding of what it is like to be Black in America. Jack may not be a racist but when you are saying the same message of hate that a racist is saying maybe you better reevaluate you message.

The last hearing on the January 6th insurrection was a hard one to watch. The pain that some had to bear because of Trump’s lie is just inexcusable. To have the political pressure that was being applied by the Trump Administration to its own party members is what I would actually call deplorable. I hope you had a chance to watch Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers testify. Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s point man had all kinds of theories but no facts. Giuliani made that statement the 10,000 dead people voted. Bower asked his if he had the names. Giuliani said yes he did. Trump told Giuliani to give Bowers the names, which of course, he never did because the information was false, just a fabricated lie. Giuliani called so much that Bowers stopped answering the phone. Giuliani was so stupid he would leave voice messages of him trying to pressure Bower. Trump himself wanted Bower to insert false electoral votes in favor of Trump. What Trump was doing was in fact asking another person to break their Oath of Office. That Oath may have meant nothing to Trump and many of his supporters but many still believed and lived that oath. Rusty Bowers was one of them. How was he rewarded? He was rewarded with threats to him and his family.

Not only was there pressure in Arizona there was also pressure in Georgia where Trump ask Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger another Republican to come up with 11,000 votes. After all the votes had been counted and it was determine that Trump lost Raffensperger was asked to manufacture 11,000 votes. Trump didn’t care that they weren’t there. He just wanted them. Trump claimed the ballots were corrupt. He claimed the Investigators of the election fraud claims were corrupt. No proof just pressure by Trump himself for Raffensperger to commit fraud. Here again there were the threats of legal action. Always the threats. Even the poll workers were not immune to the threats. Some stated that they no longer feel safe and are afraid to go out of their homes. They have been threatened just because they worked the polls. Poll worker Ruby Freeman was targeted by Trump by name. She is seen passing her mother a ginger mint that Rudy Giuliani claims was a USB drive. No proof just accusations that were not true that ruined lives. Poll workers doing their civic duty are now in fear for their lives because of Trump’s lie. There was even a group of Trump supporters that tried to make a citizen’s arrest of Rudy Freeman and her mother because of the false accusations made by Trump.

Our Country has been damaged greatly by all the lies of Trump and his Republican Supporters. Worse yet is the fact that just the lives of ordinary people like the Georgia polls workers that have been changed forever. How can they be made whole again? We need accountability and we need justice. The thugs that have tried to destroy not only our democracy but also the lives of innocent citizens need to be held accountable if we ever as a nation want to be whole again.

There’s a simple way to judge a country: look at whose lives it protects, and whose lives it’s willing to forget. For years now, we’ve heard the phrase “All Lives Matter.” It sounds fair. It sounds equal. It sounds like common sense. But a country doesn’t reveal its values through slogans. It reveals them through actions, through the lives it defends, the lives it ignores, and the lives it quietly pushes out of sight. And lately, America has been doing a whole lot of looking away. When Black Americans said they were being killed during traffic stops and routine encounters, the response from many leaders wasn’t concern; it was irritation. Instead of saying, “Let’s fix the problem so fewer people die,” we heard “Blue Lives Matter,” “Stop resisting,” and “BLM is a terrorist group.” A man died in a chokehold on camera. We all saw, from the beginning to the end. It was like a modern-day lynching. Millions marched peacefully. The answer from those in power was “law and order,” and “...
On Saturday, I was looking at Facebook and a person I was friends with, in fact, someone I went to High School with, posted something I knew was wrong. The post claimed that four lawmakers in Colorado decided jail time shouldn’t be mandatory for people who committed sexual assault of children. She claimed they were pedophile protectors. I opened up Perplexity and asked about the situation, and this is the reply I got back: You’re referring to a recent controversy in Colorado over a proposed bill that would change sentencing rules for certain sex crimes. Here are the verified facts to clarify what’s actually happening: • In early 2026, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee held a vote on a sentencing reform bill that aimed to give judges more discretion in certain felony cases. • Some lawmakers voted against an amendment that would have made mandatory prison sentences apply to all sex crimes, including child sexual assault, preferring instead to let judges determine sentences...
Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
