I saw a tweet from Elon Musk that stated “Today’s Pronoun: Prosecute Fauci”. To me that is like yelling “FIRE” in a movie theater where there is not a fire. The courts has already stated that is not part of free speech and I feel that Musk’s statement to calling to “Prosecute Fauci” is the same thing. What crime did Fauci commit? He did his job and he saved millions of lives. Covid is still killing people around the world and I am one that thinks if we would have listened a little bit more to the science and a little less to the lying and misinformation there would be a lot more people alive today. In the United States alone over one million people have already died. Fauci’s recommendations changed as we learned more about the disease. That is what science does. It studies and learns and it evolves. Fauci has been a great American and demonizing him for political reasons is what is wrong with our political system. Science should be about learning and moving forward. Science should be about discovery. Science should be about making our lives better. Also, science should be about saving lives.

I am a Twitter user and have been for about 3 years. Not very long as a lot of people but long enough to know the good it can do and the harm it can do. I use it to help promote what I write and to try and make a difference for this country. To use social media to spread false information does great harm but also kills people. When I got my Covid shot the government did not put in miniature micro chips so they can track me and know my every thought. To tell people that the forest fires are being caused by lasers in orbit is just outlandish and dangerous. The lies and misinformation that is spread using the various social networks is one of the things that will help bring America down. It has helped spread the hatred and bigotry that is starting to define America. Who benefits from a divided America? Who have been the real winners? You see things on social media about the Biden administration in 2020 pressuring Twitter about Hunter Biden’s laptop. First of all I don’t care about Hunter’s laptop. Second, there was no Biden Administration in 2020 because Trump was President so the Trump Administration was in charge. Third, if you want to investigate Hunter’s laptop then you should investigate the Trump’s children’s  laptop too. All this crap is being spewed on Social Media and mostly Twitter.

I always ask the question “Who benefits from the lying and misinformation?” We do know that our enemies do. It has already been stated by our own CIA that Russia has worked very hard to spread the false information in an attempt to divide and weaken us and I feel that they have been very successful. The battle cry that was going around “Lock Her Up” was meant to do one thing. Influence our election. Trump started a trade war with China which put them as an adversary more than what they already were so I think that they contribute and benefit from all the misinformation. What about the Multinational Corporations? You think that they aren’t benefitting? If you don’t, I think that you really haven’t been paying attention. We still have politicians that are denying Climate Change. Why? Because big Multinational Corporations give them a ton of money to say so. We still have children dying in schools. Why? Because the gun industry is giving out a ton of money. The science about Climate change has been around for decades but Social Media helps then make statements against a green economy without having to justify their facts. Our children are dying by gun violence and our guns are still some type of patriotic symbol. All this for money and power.

Musk buying Twitter is one that I find really interesting. We have always had rich millionaires and billionaires buying politicians. Rich people that want to rule behind the scenes buy politicians to be their mouth pieces. Musk has taken what I think is a different approach. I feel the Musk bought Twitter so he can control speech to enhance his power. This is not about free speech. This is about being able to yell “Fire” and having people jump to his will.  I think that Twitter is a losing proposition for him short term but I don’t think he is looking short term. I really think that his main goal is to rule. I really think that is the goal of the billionaires around the world. Some will say that they want to pick the rulers. Some say that they want puppet rulers that they control. I think that in the case of people like Musk and Trump, they think of themselves as above all of the rest of us and that we are just sheep that need to be ruled. They feel that they are anointed by God but their God is money. People like Musk and Trump are the very things that the men of 1776 fought against. I never thought I would see that day the America would be ruled instead of govern but I feel that day may be right around the corner.

Freedom is a hollow word to billionaires that want to rule. When our democracy ends it will not end with the cries but with the thunderous applause of the people too ignorant to know what Freedom really is.

  1. Excellent article. I highly recommend the new book BLOW BACK by J. Patterson & B. DuBois (I hope that’s correct spelling). I think you’d find it worth your time.

There’s a simple way to judge a country: look at whose lives it protects, and whose lives it’s willing to forget. For years now, we’ve heard the phrase “All Lives Matter.” It sounds fair. It sounds equal. It sounds like common sense. But a country doesn’t reveal its values through slogans. It reveals them through actions, through the lives it defends, the lives it ignores, and the lives it quietly pushes out of sight. And lately, America has been doing a whole lot of looking away. When Black Americans said they were being killed during traffic stops and routine encounters, the response from many leaders wasn’t concern; it was irritation. Instead of saying, “Let’s fix the problem so fewer people die,” we heard “Blue Lives Matter,” “Stop resisting,” and “BLM is a terrorist group.” A man died in a chokehold on camera. We all saw, from the beginning to the end. It was like a modern-day lynching. Millions marched peacefully. The answer from those in power was “law and order,” and “...
On Saturday, I was looking at Facebook and a person I was friends with, in fact, someone I went to High School with, posted something I knew was wrong. The post claimed that four lawmakers in Colorado decided jail time shouldn’t be mandatory for people who committed sexual assault of children. She claimed they were pedophile protectors. I opened up Perplexity and asked about the situation, and this is the reply I got back: You’re referring to a recent controversy in Colorado over a proposed bill that would change sentencing rules for certain sex crimes. Here are the verified facts to clarify what’s actually happening: • In early 2026, the Colorado House Judiciary Committee held a vote on a sentencing reform bill that aimed to give judges more discretion in certain felony cases. • Some lawmakers voted against an amendment that would have made mandatory prison sentences apply to all sex crimes, including child sexual assault, preferring instead to let judges determine sentences...
Dove or hawk? Donald Trump ran for President promising to end “endless wars”, avoid new ones, and put American families first. He cast himself as an outsider who would bring peace – the only candidate who wouldn’t drag America into another conflict. The message worked because let's face it, after so many years in Iraq and Afghanistan, America was tired of war. As a country, we were all tired of War. The country wanted stability, not another generation of men and women sent into danger. But once in office, he governed very differently. He governed like a Hawk, quick to threaten, quick to escalate, and willing to use both bombs and tariffs as weapons. What was missing wasn’t just consistency. It was an honor: the sense of responsibility and restraint that should come with the power to risk other people's sons and daughters. This isn’t about ideology. It's about whether someone who promised peace, but repeatedly chooses confrontation, can still claim to be a “dove”. A core...
