Hunter Biden. I am so tired of reading about Hunter Biden. The only reason that we are hearing about Hunter Biden is because the Republicans need something to attack President Biden with. They can’t find any wrong being done by the President so they go after the son. I really don’t care if the Justice Department investigated Hunter Biden just as long as they treat him the same as everyone else. I do care that it seems that the entire Republican Party seems to only want to talk about Hunter Biden as a way to smear our President. Senator Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee said that President Biden used the Submersible Titan disaster as a way to divert attention away from Hunter Biden.  They will just make stuff up to try and make President Biden look like a crook. Lying for political gain is not good for the nation and too many Republicans like Marsha Blackburn are just lying. I look at the Hunter Biden story and the only thing about it that is a big deal is the fact that Republicans have been trying to use it as a way to destroy the Biden Administration and divide the country. It should never have been that big of a story. I don’t see the Democrats only talking about the Trump Children as much who in my opinion seem much more corrupt than Hunter Biden ever was. They are actually trying to accomplish stuff for the good of the nation. Wasn’t the Trump children investigated and charged with self-dealing money from a charity by the State of New York? They appeared to get off without going to jail or being flogged in public. In June of 2018 New York attorney General Barbara Underwood wrote: “For more than a decade, the Donald J. Trump foundation has operated in a persistent violation of state and federal law governing New York State charities. This pattern of illegal conduct by the Foundation and its board members includes improper and extensive political activity, repeated and willful self-dealing transactions, and failure to follow basic fiduciary obligations or to implement corporate formalities required by law” Trump’s children were involved with that foundation if I remember right. In fact, I think they ran it. What about all those Chinese Trademarks and the 2 billion dollars from the Saudi’s. If the Republicans wish to investigate the children of Presidents then investigate them all and not just the ones that they feel they can achieve a political gain. I am all for the truth but that has to apply to all.

Everyone knows why these attacks are going on. They are going on because of all the legal problems that Donald Trump has. They divert attention from the Special Prosecutor Smith’s investigation of the criminal activity of the Trump Administration before and after he left office. There can be no question that Trump broke the law. Pretty much every lawyer in the country, which is not on the Trump payroll, is saying that. Even people from his own administration are saying it. Jim Jordan has made the statement that if they can do this to Donald Trump then they can do this to you too. To that I say, “I hope so”. If I broke the law do you think that Jim Jordan would be saying “If they can do this to David they can do it to you too”?  What he more than likely would be saying is “lock him up, lock him up”. Growing up I had always heard that “No One Is Above The Law”. Now it appears to me is that I am being told by the Republican Party that “Donald Trump Is Above The Law”. They should be saying that we have to let the do process play out and see what the courts say. They should be saying that Trump is due his day in court to determine if he broke the law. We hear none of that. We hear no support for the laws of our country or of the judicial system whose job it s is to administer that system. I hear Republicans say we support “the badge” when they are beating up Black people but when they are holding Republicans accountable they will call them law enforcement corrupt. I will ask the question, how can we trust the Republican Party to administer the law equally? Right now I don’t think we can.

Republicans are real quick to say that the Hunter Biden situation proves that we have a two tier justice system. I don’t think the Hunter Biden situation proves jack. Now I do believe that the
Reality Winner’s situation does show that there is definitely a two tier justice system. She is the NSA Translator that leaked information of Russian election interference in 2016. She was arrested 2017 and denied bail not once but twice. In August of 2018 she was convicted and sentenced for five and a half years as part of a plea agreement. Trump did steal boxes and boxes of information that was supposed to be turned over to the National Archives per the Presidential Records act. With those documents he also took many classified documents that he should have gone back to where secret records are kept which not in a bathroom at his resort in Florida. We know that he was showing people including a writer, a publisher, and two staff members classified documents. It was almost like he was planning a book deal with those documents but that is only me speculating. We have no idea who else he showed those documents to or if he has compromised our nation. Did he sell any of them? What did Saudi Arabia get for their 2 billion dollars? He lied about having the boxes and he even wanted his lawyers to lie. Trump wasn’t even asked to post bail. Yes there is a two tier justice system and if there wasn’t Trump would be in jail right now awaiting trial just like Reality Winner had to.   

The Republicans in the House have introduced Articles of Impeachment against Joe Biden. Congress Woman Lauren Boebert from Colorado has issued articles of “abuse of power” and “Dereliction of Duties”. In some respects this should be considered funny but it is really a crime against our legislated system and a crime against our Republic. To use the floor of Congress to distract from the legal proceedings that have fallen on Trump is bad enough. But she is also using the floor of Congress to seek revenge for the impeachment of Donald Trump. Biden has broken no law nor, has he committed an impeachable offense. Trump never saw a law that he thought that he couldn’t break. I know that is an exaggeration but Trump tried to blackmail the head of a foreign government to try and help dig up dirt on a political opponent. Trump then tried to overthrow our government. The saddest part of this whole story is that the Republicans are ok with the crimes that Trump did commit. We are in this trouble today because the Republicans have continually put their party before the wellbeing of the Country. That is the number one reason that I will never vote for another Republican again. I love my country. I hear many Republicans say that they love their country too but I am going to be very blunt. If you truly love your country you would not be voting for the party that wants to end of a democratic republic. The party that truly wants a one party system, which would never be a form of democracy, is the Republican Party. The Democrats are not perfect but at least they didn’t want to put a dictator on the throne of the United States.

I have said this a thousand times that in today digital age this stuff that we do can last forever. Who knows, maybe a hundred years from now somebody will be reading what I write. My point is that all the lies and misinformation will live forever too. History is not written by politicians it is written by historians. Because on the digital technology that we have today in a hundred years from now they are going to be able to study what is happening today like they were there. I think that some of our descendants are going to want to change their names.
