Draining  the swamp. Foreign countries spent almost 8 million dollars at Trump owned businesses while he was President. To me, 8 million dollars does not seem like a lot of money. What is upsetting to me is  the Republican Party as a whole and especially since Trump went after Hunter Biden, a private citizen, for much less. Did Hunter Biden try a capitalize on the fact that his Father was Vice President? I am sure he did. Was it more than the Trump children tried to capitalize on the fact that their Father was President? It isn’t even close. Just the fact is the Trump family continued to do business with foreign counties while he was in office. I am sure it was much higher than just 8 million dollars. It  shows the conflicts and the potential corruption that was in my opinion the Trump Administration. That conflict started even before he was President. Trump had every intention of making money off the Presidency, in my opinion. Why do you think that he was so willing to donate his salary? That money was chump change compared to the money he was going to be able to take in by grifting an entire nation.

It started early and so did the fact that a foreign government was going to try and influence the Trump administration with money. In 2016, Saudi Arabian lobbyists were reserving a large number of DC area hotel rooms as part of an unorthodox campaign that offered veterans a free trip to Washington so they could be sent to Capitol Hill to lobby against a 9/11 law the Saudis opposed.  According to veterans they were putting up the veterans in the Trump International Hotel in downtown Washington. Was this an attempt to influence the Trump administration? You bet your ass it was. To me it shows the corruption of the Trump Administration started before he even took the Oath of Office. Saudi’s, Chinese, Qatar Afghanistan, Russia to name a few knew that Trump’s interests were not about America’s interest. It was about American money. They all curried favors by staying at Trump owned properties. Trump and his dealings with the Saudi’s really need to be looked into. Trump, in my opinion, put money before the interests of the American people.

Trump and the Republicans have tried to make it look like the Biden’s are controlled by the Chinese. I know that is ridiculous and you know that is ridiculous but there are many of Americans that want to believe it. Not because there are facts that show that Biden is involved with the Chinese but because they want to hide the fact that it is probably Trump that is involved with the Chinese. The Chinese have spent over 5 million dollars at Trump properties. You know and I know that the Chinese are spending that money so they can influence policy. I think that foreign money is pouring into this country because they know that it is the greed of this country that is its Achilles heal. Whenever you talk about Trump and the money you will hear “But, what about Hunter Biden?”. It is that “But” word that tries to change everyone’s mind by putting up smokescreens or being used as a misdirection word. When you hear anyone say “But, what about” anything they are just trying to change the subject because they have no real defense. When talking about Trump there should never be a “But What About” because what Trump did was not dependent on anything else but what Trump did.

We are at the 3 year anniversary of the January 6^th attack on our Democracy. I will never forget watching the group of Domestic Terrorists Storming the Capitol to try and stop Congress from performing their constitutional duty. Yes, that is really what happened. Trump sent them and they tried to stop Congress from certifying the 2020 Electoral College results as is required by the Constitution. This was the single worst breech of our Capitol since the war of 1812. Now it wasn’t as bad as what happened back then because the British burned the Capitol down. The only thing that the Trump supporters and, I think Trump as well was wanting to burn the Constitution. It was also Trump’s Constitutional duty to make sure that those proceeding being held by Congress went off as smoothly as possible. Instead he sent the mob. He had sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and instead he sent a mob. After the insurrection again you heard the “But”word. “But what about” the Black Lives Matters protests? “But what about” all the voter fraud?  All these buts trying to defend what happened at the Capitol is just disgusting. There is no justifying what happened at the Capitol. The Black Lives Matter protests were not an Insurrection. There has been no evidence of voter fraud. We have to stop with this “But What About” garbage to try and justify a group of Domestic Terrorists trying to burn our Democracy to the ground.

I will keep on reminding people that on January 6^th 2020, a group of Domestic Terrorist were sent to our Capitol by the outgoing President Donald Trump. Their intention was to put an unelected man into the White House which would have ended our Democracy. Accountability needs to start at the top and not just the people that were duped into believing the lie. Trump did not do this alone and I am sure he had lots of help even though he was the catalyst. Donald Trump, in my opinion, was corrupt before he was elected, during his administration, and even to this day.
