MAGA called Biden a dictator, a Tyrant, a Nazi, a Communist, and the head of the Biden Crime Family. Biden was, of course, none of those things. Biden was a good Christian man who believed in God and the American system. When Biden said “God Bless America”, he meant it, whereas many politicians say, “God Bless America” only because they want your vote. Many people will say that Biden was weak. I don’t say that he was weak but I understand why some would say that. He believed in the system and he believed in the American people. It was our voice that was supposed to be important. It was not just his responsibility for our Democratic Republic to survive and flourish it was our responsibility too.

Have we, as a country, lost our faith in our Democratic Republic? Have we lost the vision that was our Forefathers? Do today's Americans even understand what their vision was? What is a government by the People, of the People for the People?  Is that even close to what we have today? They set up a system of three equal branches of government. The Executive Branch, the Legislative Branch, and the Judicial Branch of our Government. Three equal branches of Government. Is that what we have today? It is supposed to be the Legislative Branch to write the law. It is the Executive Branch's job to sign and approve the law. It is the Judicial Branch's job to intrepid that law and to make sure it adheres to the Constitution. Each one with separate but equal power. We call it “checks and balances”.

To call Trump a Dictator today I would say is a pretty fair statement. Now before you, MAGA people, begin telling me I am full of crap please hear me out. We have a dictatorship when the other branches of Government do not uphold their part in the checks and balances. Trump is not a Dictator today because he took it. Trump is a Dictator today because the two other branches of government have failed to live up to their part of the Constitution.  When the Supreme Court ruled that Trump was above the law when performing the duties of the office that was one of the biggest steps toward a dictatorship they could make. We went from no man above the law to the mess we have today. That meant the only way to hold a President accountable was by impeachment. No President in our history has ever been removed from office because of impeachment. That is mostly because of party politics. It is really hard because party politics makes it almost impossible to get 60 percent of the Senate to agree to remove a President from office.

Another Branch of the Government that has not lived up to their job is the Legislative Branch. They have failed so miserably that it seems all they do is political investigations to try and smear the Democratic party. A great example is immigration. Whose job was it to solve the problem of immigration? If you say Biden’s, you just flunked your civics exam. It is Congress that writes the law and it is Congress's job to solve the problem. Last year the Senate came up with bi-partisan legislation to solve the immigration problem that Biden said he would sign. Trump didn’t want the problem solved because that was one of his major issues.  If it was solved it would ruin a lot of the platform that he was running on. He told the Speaker of the House Johnson to kill the legislation so it was never brought up for debate let alone a vote in the House. The Speaker of the House told Biden he should write an executive order instead. That is the perfect example of how it is not supposed to work. When the Speaker of the House refuses to do his job, we slowly begin to lose our Republic. Another good example is the DOGE program being run by Musk. Oversite is a function of Congress but here again, we see Congress not wanting to do their job and bending at the whims of a dictator.

Trump now is ruling by Executive Orders. Trump has written more Executive Orders than any President in our history for his first hundred days in office and hasn’t even been in office a month. Truman used to have the most in his first hundred days with 57 but in less than a month Trump has already topped that. The Republicans control the House. The Republicans control the Senate. There should be no need for Trump to write all those executive orders. The only reason I can think of is that Trump has told them that he will be a dictator and Musk has told them that he would “primary any of them” if they defied the word of Trump. Again, this is not the way our system is supposed to work. I don’t think that Trump believes in the Republic for which we stand. Trump has shown that he doesn’t believe in the Constitution. Now we have a Congress that doesn’t believe in the Constitution either.

Trump, Musk, and their DOGE initiative have now been challenged by a few judges in the Federal Courts. J D Vance has posted on Twitter, “If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal, if a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that’s also illegal. Judges aren’t allowed to control the executive's legitimate power”. Judges are exactly the checks and balances that are supposed to exist between the Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch. That is their job and it shows that Vance does not believe in the Constitution the very document that he took an oath to protect and the vision of our Forefathers. Steven Miller has called Judges' rulings that challenged Trump's orders “an assault on our Democracy”. Again, another member of the Trump administration who doesn’t believe in the Constitution or our Democratic Republic.

All the names and all of the lies they talked about Biden are just a reflection of how they wanted to run the Government.  A Government Of the People, By the People, and For the People is not what the Republicans want. That is what Biden wanted. I think he wanted that system to work so badly that he may have sacrificed that very thing he wanted to preserve. His faith in the system of We the People had never in its history ever experienced the lies and hate that is social media and the corrupt press of the billionaire class. Biden had faith in the voters and America. I hope we return that faith someday.
